The advertising industry is in the midst of a revolution. Wieden and Kennedy being named agency of the year goes to show just that. This agency has come a long way from what some might call the “good old days” but it has not been a simple transition.
The shift into the digital era for the advertising industry means living outside of the comfort zone. For many people in the industry this is very difficult. It means accepting the way things have always been is not the way they will always be…starting yesterday.
Needless to say there have been many hurdles to overcome and many pitfalls in the road to agency of the year. What I take away from this article is pretty simple. Nothing in life can be rigid when change is the only constant.
