Coca-Cola Refreshments February 2012-Present

I am a beverage expert. In sharing the knowledge that I have about our products I assist my customers in growing their businesses. My day consists of handling inside sales, service and support calls.

Captured Images Photography– February 2007-present

I currently am working on the marketing project for the new Captured Images Photography workshops. In addition to photographing weddings we will also be holding educational workshops. I am an assistant wedding photographer. I work as a second shooter during the ceremony. At the reception I work as a creative, candid photographer. I help pose the bride and groom as well as any family group shots. I also assist with the creative bridal portraits.

Capital One Auto Finance– Risk Associate from May 2007-February 2012

I started with Capital one as a customer service representative. I received between 150-200 incoming calls everyday. I fielded customers questions about everything from insurance claims to taking payments. I transferred to the collections department and became a risk associate. I did skip tracing to find information on current customers that we no longer had any current contact information on. I made outbound calls to customer who were delinquent on their auto loans. I worked a specific list each month and then I also had a team list I worked frequently.

AVON – Unit Leader June 2004-February 2007

When I started I had to meet a certain sales quota to be promoted to Unit Leader. Then while keeping my personal sales above the minimum goals I assisted my team with their sales. If they needed any help with generating ideas to grow their businesses we would have a meeting and just throw ideas around until we found something that worked.

Home Depot – Cashier from February 2003-January 2004

I provided excellent customer service while processing transactions. During our peak seasonal times I also worked in the garden department.

Best Buy – Cashier/Pricing Coordinator from August 2000-April 2002

When I started working with Best Buy I was a front end cashier. I made myself very familiar with the replacement plans they offered. It was my goal to sell the plans with every product. When I became the pricing coordinator I was in charge of any price changes for the entire store. I would do a weekly store price update. This involved going through the current sale ad and updating the items that were included. I took care of discounting products for clearance as well as any damaged product mark downs.

Vintage Stock May 1999- July 2000

As a Vintage Stock Associate I assisted customers in buying, selling and trading anything from video games and movies to books, toys and much more. I studied pricing on a wide variety of products within those categories. Staying informed about the current pricing variances was extremely important.  I needed to ensure that I was negotiating correctly on the items I purchased for resale in the store. I also helped run the Pokemon card games that were held there every Saturday morning.

I am currently working on a bachelor degree in Strategic Communications. I expect to complete it May 2013.

Rogers State University

I was very involved with the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA) organization on campus. I headed the concert committee from 2001-2003. I was also very active on RSU- Radio and served as an assistant to the metal music director. The radio show I did each week was called Random Rock. I was also the Student Government Association representative for RSU-Radio.
